The Scholarly Network connects students across South Africa with tutors, mentors and career guidance — online, in person, and wherever opportunity is hardest to reach.
TSN was founded in 2021 in the heart of Namaqualand by Stacey Louisa Bock, an occupational therapist by profession, alongside two other shareholders including Justin Esau, a social entrepreneur, accountant, and former CEO of Namakwaland Tutors.
What began as informal tutoring has grown into a holistic platform offering tutoring, mentorship, career guidance, and emotional support to students across South Africa — meeting learners exactly where they are, online or in person.
To provide innovative educational solutions that inspire lifelong learning, professional advancement, and personal growth — building a diverse community of learners, thinkers, and achievers.
To be the catalyst for transforming education into a dynamic force that empowers individuals to excel and contribute meaningfully to society.
TSN goes beyond the classroom — combining academic support with emotional wellbeing, community programs, and career exposure.
Personalised online and in-person sessions, rated by both scholars and tutors, approached holistically.
In-person and online group sessions that build understanding while strengthening peer learning.
